Recipe of the day

Citrus Turkey Burger

Ingredients
1-1/2 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup chopped green onions
6 tablespoons Homemade Gourmet® Cilantro Citrus Seasoning Mix
6 flour or wheat pita
6 lettuce leaves
1 avocado, peeled, seeded and diced
1 tomato, diced

Directions
1. In bowl, combine turkey, onions, and seasoning; shape into 6 patties.

2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat; lightly brush grate with oil. Grill burgers for 5 minutes on each side or until no longer pink in center.

3. Wrap pita in foil; grill until heated through.

4. Fill each pita with lettuce, avocado, tomato, and burger. Serve with salsa, if desired.
